As a way of inspiring developers to come up with interesting holographic content, Microsoft has unveiled Actiongram – an app that allows you to record people interacting with holograms through HoloLens, an augmented reality headset.
The app aims to make movie creation extremely easy, letting users drag and drop holograms into real-life situations, resulting in sharable, potentially funny clips requiring no CGI or animation experience.
The Microsoft HoloLens development kits will be available for $3000 (approx. £2100) from 30 March.
